Qualification Summary
Basic criteria:
A. Degree – Engineering. To be accepted, the program (1) must have a bachelor’s degree in at least one engineering school recognized by my father. Or (2) five of the following seven sciences in engineering or physics include diversity and integrated calculations and courses (better than first year physics and chemistry) (a) statistics, dynamics; B) material strength (stress-strain relationships); (C) liquid mechanics, hydraulic; (D) thermodynamics; (E) electric fields and circuits; (F) the nature and properties of materials (particle and general structure related to properties); And (g) any other equivalent area of ​​basic engineering science or physics such as optics, heat transfer, earth mechanics or electronics: OR-
B) A combination of education and experience: In-college education, training and / or technical experience (1) In-depth knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences that are the basis of engineering, and (2) good understanding, theory and practice, engineering sciences and techniques and their applications Branches of Engineering. Eligibility for this background must be considered in one of the following: Professional Registration or Licensing – Current registration as an Engineer Inter (EI), Training Engineer (ET), or in any state, licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) by the District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. -OR- Written test – Evidence of successful passing of the FE test or any other written test required by the Engineering Licensing Board in various states, the District of Columbia, Guam and Puerto Rico. Or- Specified Academic Courses: Courses successfully completed at least 60 semester hours in physical, math and engineering sciences and courses that meet the basic requirements set forth in Article A must be fully accepted to meet the requirements. Successful completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor’s degree in the relevant scientific field, such as engineering technology, physics, chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, or geology, as described in paragraph A: 1 year P. Professional engineering experience under professional engineering supervision and guidance. Regularly must have a rigorous training plan or years of prior professional engineering experience to develop professional engineering skills, for example, in a variety of disciplines.
