Mumbai, August 30: Vicar cricket coach Vasu Paranjape, who consulted with India’s greats such as Sachin Tundulkar and Sunil Gavascar, passed away on Monday at his home in Matuga.
Cricket icon Sachin Tendlukar paid tribute to his coaching staff, Vasu Paranjape.
Paranjape, 82, died at his home in Mutaga, survived by his wife and former nationalist and cricketer, Jati.
Remembering the man in the hat, Tendulkar said in his statement, “Lord Vasu, as far as I know, was one of the best coaches I worked with. Counselor in Many Ways ”
According to Tendelukar, he was a great man of knowledge and humor.
I remember at the beginning of my career saying in Marathi, ‘Be careful for the first 15 minutes and the opponent will watch you all day.’
“He was knowledgeable, alive, and had a great sense of humor. I visited him a few months ago and it was a normal joke. ”
Tendulkar felt that his piece had left the world.
The caretaker of our under-15 national camp in Indoor complained about our men (he as a coach) playing tennis at night, and we look forward to some support and strict action. Vasu automatically replied, ‘They are children and they play. Why don’t you give them a field? ‘
It leaves us with many memories and moments of smiles. I feel like a piece has left the world. RIP Vasu Sir, ”said the legend bat.
Tendelukar’s partner and former Indian bat Vinod Campbell also paid tribute to Paranjape.
