Earlier this year, Texas and much of the South were hit by a hurricane in the South, which, in fact, made us miserable. I was one of the lucky ones in my state that their pipes didn’t explode and they lost power. In my hometown, many have been without water for some time.

Texas suffered greatly during this hurricane, and this was largely due to ERCOT and the regional government’s refusal to cool sources of energy in the winter, from natural gas generators to wind turbines (in other states during the winter). Many speculated and wanted Tesla to do something, and in this application Tesla seems to be doing something. Or after receiving that certificate.
