EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – Chippewa Valley Technical College (CCT) is one of 16 sites in the United States that offer physical recreation drone tests.
Recreation UAS Safety Test (FAA) is a FAA requirement for those who want to start flying in recreation.

“I thought I could make a few dollars here and there by making paintings for real estate, real estate agents and any other market,” Hartle said.
Seon Crewston, a drone program instructor, says people can get their business certificates online, but there is a difference between getting a certificate and knowing how to fly a drone.
“A lot of people want to be able to do something with Drone,” he said. “Taking photos, videos, etc. is very important for entertainment, so we will focus on those skills that are not included in the tractor test.
He said the two advanced courses will teach the student more technical and business use.
As technology advances, he says, flying Creepiston is becoming more and more important real-world work.
“Okay, we want to, you know, I’m going to start seeing a lot of posts on someone farming, but if you have experience in the past, you know, you know that would be an added benefit.” So you are still doing your core business. The drones will be another tool. The energy sector b, you know, consumer services. ”
For those who are interested in learning to fly, Hartle has some tips.
“Take that basic part for sure,” he said. “You’ve got all the drones here, you don’t need your own equipment and it’s a good time. It really is. ”
Classes are offered from May to September. The next open entrance course will not start until May 2022. Click here for more information on the program.
