Speed will open a new Aberdeen base to support the North Sea market

Construction Services Spide has opened a new regional base to support the oil and gas sector in Aberdeen.

The new 13,200-square-foot center, located in the Denmor Industrial Estate, is the third of the city’s two intersections and will expand the equipment and facilities by bringing the ships under one roof.

According to Spadi, the company will employ 10 staff and is ready to hire in the next 12 months to meet growing demand.

The company said the station will provide fencing and public inspection solutions to support the region’s renovation industry.

Colin Mill, general manager of the Aberdeen Center, said: “Our new Aberdeen home lifting services will be brought to the city to meet the growing demand from the largest companies in the North Sea.

The new station will be strategically located just 11 minutes from downtown, giving our customers better access to the tools and equipment they need and delivering a fast and reliable delivery of four hours of delivery in the UK.

Contractors will now receive plant and powered access machinery, as well as site surveying and lifting equipment, to meet high environmental demand from oil and gas companies.

The additional space will allow the facility to accommodate customer training in a variety of courses, including high-end safe work.

SPD is a supplier of tools and equipment to customers in the construction, infrastructure and industrial markets with more than 20 stations throughout Scotland.
