Los Angeles, August 25, 2021 (PRNewswire) – Local high school students are receiving valuable training for their future careers in the fast-growing energy industry, inspired by the Southern California Regional Energy Network (SOCRN).
Architecture, Construction, Engineering Students (ACS) Engineeringway Program is a unique network of non-profit organizations working together to prepare and market LA-area students.
ACES improves academic achievement and removes barriers to higher education by enrolling high school students in the fields of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). The credit you receive will be transferred to the campuses within California State University And University of California Systems.
One example of the ACES program in action is the SOLIDWORKS Summer Online Training Internship Program. To implement the first pilot training program for high school students, the program was partnered with a design and solution company Goin Engineer and a newly launched university training program.
The SOLIDWORKS internship allowed me to learn how engineering works in the real world, allowing me to use all the skills I learned in my ACES courses in real-world situations. They said Joseph Gill, 11Th STEAM Legacy High School student. It is better to go to the right place and apply my knowledge, and it is better to do paid work practices.
