OMV Petrom launches new digital skills training project for employees

OMV Petrom, the largest integrated energy company in Southeast Europe, has announced the launch of its “Digital Training Skills” digital skills training program for its employees. The project is funded by the European Social Fund And it will open in 18 months from this year. The total cost of the project is estimated at 2 million li.

The program “Digital Training Skills” is based on three pillars: adopting digital technologies, changing culture and embracing global digital IT skills.

The training courses focus on advanced skills in monitoring and information energy systems, cyber security and critical infrastructure and data science.

More than 300 employees will benefit from the training. About 25% of these are female workers and at least 5% are between the ages of 54 and 65.

At the end of the training, a diploma and / or certificate of attendance will be issued following an organized evaluation process by the applicant.

The project is funded by the European Social Fund’s Operational Manpower 2014-2020.
