Georgia Power celebrates careers during Energy Week

Atlanta, October 18, 2021 (PRNewswire) – Georgia Power is joining power utilities across the country to highlight skills during Energy Week. October 18-22. During Energy Week, it is decided to respect and develop the knowledge and understanding of energy professions for our communities, the state and our country.

As part of this week’s Energy Week, Georgia Power will be airing an information leaflet on energy professions and a video of a coaching staff member on “The Day of the Living.” The video begins Thursday, October 21 At www.poweringcareers.com, a career website launched during the 2020 Field of Energy Week that provides opportunities for high school students, recent graduates, and professional influencers to generate, transfer, and explore energy skills in operations.
