Future diesel locomotive works on solar energy

Texas is looking at a green hydrogen center that uses most of its solar and wind resources in a particularly exciting development in Western America, and Utah is helping to push the trend of natural gas-to-green-hydrogen turbines with hydrogen as a storage model.

“Adding a pound of solar panels to just one train in India is estimated to save 5,547 gallons of diesel per year, saving about $ 20,000. These panels are not yet promoting locomotives, but only by increasing the number of fans, lights and comfort systems, converting them into renewable materials, highlighting the greater potential for further operational costs, ”says Trina.

Electric trains have outdated diesel for many railway lines, but there are still many other opportunities for solar power to enter the world’s railways.
