Carmel community raises 5K / 2K fundraiser for 13th Annual Spirits and Gobins – Hamilton County Reporter

Welsh-TV’s start-up anchor, Scott Sander, greets more than 2,000 members of the community when they arrive: Lots of costumes: This fundraiser will benefit students and teachers of Caramel Clay Schools. Carmel Graduate Sander is a former Remmel DJ for Carmel High School radio station WHJE who works with current WHJE students to broadcast the competition and inspire participants in the morning.

The competition is open to all members of the community and is particularly appealing to families.

Participants may choose to run a 5K or 2K course, or an unintended 2K course. Both courses begin and end at Carmel High School. Riders are welcome.

Individual registration is $ 30 (ages 12 and older); Family registration for up to five people is $ 70, and an unexpected 2k race is $ 10 until October 10. Prices will increase on October 18th. .

Leslie Carpyuk, Carmel Clay Schools 2021 Teacher of the Year, will begin the competition. Special thanks to the Java House and Carmel High School Food Department for purchasing coffee, hot chocolate and other breakfast items. Green Bean Serving and Joe’s Meat Shop provided generous water and snacks to all participants.
