Georgia’s natural gas green life facilitates carbon decomposition for many commercial and industrial processes. Businesses and organizations, such as the Atlanta City Council, can make natural gas carbon neutral without interfering with business or spending extra money to advance their local goals.

“We appreciate our partnership with Georgia Natural Gas,” he said. Tracy Techau, Scout CEO / CEO of the Atlanta Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. “Scouting helps children understand the environment and our responsibility as citizens. Our community is better served by the natural gas community in Georgia.”

Georgia’s Natural Gas Green Life Business Program is a recent commitment from the Southern Gas Company to help the company and its customers achieve their sustainable goals. For participating customers, Georgia Natural Gas calculates the amount of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere and balances the effects of those emissions by purchasing and releasing carbon offsets and neutralizing their natural gas carbon.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to help the Scouts achieve their sustainable goals by continuing their regular work on natural gas,” he said. Mike Braswell, GNG President and CEO. “We hope more Georgia Domestic gas-dependent trade also contributes to reducing emissions.

“Every time you join the program, we buy and keep a lot of carbon offset,” Braswell continued. “It will create the kind of wave effect that requires all businesses to play a clean energy role in the future and establish our state as a leader in sustainable efforts.”

Every quarter of Georgia’s natural gas will be adequately replaced by carbon offsets on behalf of participants to fully offset the greenhouse gas emissions of the last quarter. Click here to learn more about the Green Life Business Program.
