Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) is offering three new vocational courses designed in partnership with the industry for students who have not passed their Class XII exams.
Announced admission to the three bachelor’s vocational courses offered at the Center for Skills Development in Retail Management, Manufacturing Skills, and Renewable Energy Skills. In retail management, there are 80 seats for BVoc, while the other two courses have 50 seats each.
The three-year BVoc students in retail management provide two-year employment opportunities for Maruti Suzuki distributors and financial and classroom support to assist students during their studies.
Volkswagen, Cummins and Tata Motors are the industry partners in BVoc’s manufacturing skills course, actively participating in curriculum design and professional lectures. For BVoc’s renewable energy capabilities, industrial partners Suzulun Energy, Thermax PLC
All three courses are three-year postgraduate degrees and the entrance program is based on an online entrance exam (OEE) on each department’s website.
OEE forms at campus.unipune.ac.in for the regular category at 500 rubles or for the expected category 350 rubles until August 7 or 750 rubles late until August 10 a. A on-campus shared login platform has been created to provide information on OEE and its format. It can be accessed at https://campus.unipune.ac.in/CCEP.
OEE will be one hour long and details of the program will be posted on the University website later. A multi-choice question will be divided into two sections: 20 for general knowledge / logical understanding and 80 specific questions for a topic. One third of the question marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The benefit list will be prepared based on the overall results and, on an equal basis, subject-related questions will be considered in Part B. If there is an additional link, marks will be considered in the eligibility test.
