At least 10 people were injured and part of the building was destroyed by a natural gas explosion in 19 Wing Comoms.
BC Emergency Medical Services has confirmed that CBB Comics has been called to the airport around 9 15 15, including an ambulance following the blast.
10 people are being treated by paramedics, according to EHS, one patient in “critical condition” was airlifted to hospital by ambulance. Three others were taken safely to hospital and six others were treated at the station’s medical ward.
It is not clear how the explosion occurred. Many said they heard loud noises after 9 p.m.

Officials told Czech News that the damaged building was an old neighborhood that was undergoing renovations.
The 19 Wing Fire Department is on site and the Comics Fire Department is on standby outside the base.
The cause has not yet been determined but the air conditioning has not been affected, Lieutenant Colonel Mike Juil told the Czech News.
Airline staff have been helping evacuate flood-affected areas from BC, such as Agassiz, by sending people to Cormorant to evacuate.
