Appointed New Vice Chancellor for Anna University

R. Velgej, a professor at the University’s Institute of Energy Studies, has been appointed for three years

R. Velgej, former director of the Institute for Energy Studies and director of CAD / CAM at the University of Anna-FRG, has been appointed vice chancellor of Anna University.

According to Raj Bavan, Professor Velgej has been in office for three years. Vernor Governor-Chancellor Bangalore Uro Rohit handed over his appointment to Professor Veljara on Tuesday.

Professor Veljraj has 33 years of rich teaching experience. He has extensive research experience in publishing 193 research papers in journals with an index of 52 and more than 10,000 verses. He also presented four papers at international educational / research events and prepared four international academic / research events.

Author of three books, presented 31 research papers at national conferences. He has completed 15 research projects worth 17.85 million euros. He led 33 PhDs. Scholars and two MS students. He has two patents and six communication notes

Thanks to him.

Professor Velgej has developed three PhD courses. Programs in the Department of Mechanical Engineering have introduced nine new courses for engineering teachers and participated in two academic programs for engineering masters at Anna University.

He is known to have 14 years of administrative experience as a university director, deputy director and head of the department. He is also a member of the Research Board, a member of the Anna University Academic Council, and has served in various educational institutions.

Professor Veraj has visited seven foreign countries for academic and research purposes, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Russia, South Korea, and Australia.
