The chemical factory in Nansasari GIDC where the accident took place

Vadurara – A chemical company employee at Nandsari GIDC was found dead early Sunday in a suspicious situation at the company’s factory. Police say two – Ba’athist Shah (45) and 24-year-old Alpsh Papashin – may have died from a gas leak.
A police official said that 14 workers were inside the factory at the time of the incident. With the exception of the two victims, he said, no one was treated for the suspected gas leak.
According to police, Shan and Padshin were found unconscious at a plant in GIDC Estate in Nandsari at 3:18 p.m. The two workers were taken to a private hospital in Chani, but doctors said they died before they could enter.
“We are waiting for a post-mortem report to determine the exact cause of death. However, it is suspected that they may have accidentally inhaled some of the toxic gas. The police chief said. Later in the day, scientists also visited the plant and performed zero tests on the cause of death.
An accidental death was reported at the Nandsari police station. “We are investigating it as a sudden death. Dozens of other workers were working in the factory at the same time. “We are investigating because no one has complained about health problems except for the two victims,” he said.
The first investigation revealed that Shah, a resident of Nandasari, had been working as a plant operator for the past three years. Padshin, who lives in Anklav, in a neighboring district, joined the company two weeks ago.
